Our Ceramic Coating Process
-
This is where we get your vehicle's paint, trim, cracks and crevices as clean and smooth as possible to have a clean surface to work with prior to polishing or correcting the paint. We will:
-Clean and detail your wheels, undercarriage and tires.
-Hand wash to remove the dirt from the paint.
-Apply an iron remover to break down and remove iron/metal particles in the paint from brake dust, roads, vehicle delivery etc.
-Claybar the paint to remove embedded debris and contamination on the paint and glass.
-Clean the exterior cracks and crevices
-Dry the vehicle with air blowers, compressor and towels.

Once your vehicle is nice and dry we will tape up sensitive areas and plastic trim to ensure no polishing residue stains. Next comes correction.
This is where we either polish or do a two step correction to your paint to:
-remove the swirls and scratches from the paint
- remove the top layer of oxidation caused by the sun
- bring back the gloss of the paint
Not only does this make the finish of your paint look better. It gives us a fresh, clean layer of clear coat for the ceramic coating to bond with.
We will not be able to ceramic coat your vehicle without a proper polish or correction. This is to ensure quality and so you can reap the benefits of ceramic technology!
Every coating job comes with a polish but if you want to go heavier to remove heavier imperfections we can ad an additional cost!

Lastly is the Installation Process.
We will wipe down your paint with a panel prep spray to remove any leftover oil residue from the correction stage, blow any dust off and get to coating!
After choosing what ceramic coating is best for you, we will apply it to your paint, plastic trim, headlights, taillights and wheels (at an additional cost) if you want the whole package! Great to protect your vehicles clear coat, plastics and wheels from the San Diego weather, heat and roads.

The ceramic coating process gets divided into 3 main stages : Prep , Correction , & Installation.
With a ceramic coating it is important to have a clean enclosed space to work with. If you’re requesting a mobile ceramic coating service you must have a garage to work with. This is to ensure no environmental contamination interrupts the process. Wouldn’t want dust getting back onto a freshly polished surface.
If you don’t have a garage and live in the Oceanside, Vista or Escondido area you can drop off your vehicle and leave it with us at our shop location in San Marcos, CA.
Like all great things you want to last, they require maintenance. We can set you up with a ceramic maintenance plan to keep your car looking great with the proper wash methods to keep your car looking great and make sure the coating is working properly. As well as to make sure your car can stay free of swirls. Improper wash methods or using rough, dirty towels can still damage the surface when enough pressure is applied. What Is A Ceramic Coating?
•A ceramic coating is a new semi permanent form of protection for your vehicle!
A ceramic coating is extremely heat and chemical resistant and will not wash off for the duration of the coating (as long as you care for it and maintain it). This makes it so you don’t have to constantly worry about having to apply wax to your vehicle.

The clear coat that comes with your car is very thin, soft and porous. This is how little rocks, dirt, hard water , sunshine and organic droppings can deteriorate the finish and shine. A ceramic coating contains chemicals that once applied to your vehicle's surfaces will react with the oxygen to start forming a tight hardened bond. Tight enough to not allow water or contamination to enter your painted surface pores. Also taking the damage from the sun’s uv rays protecting the clear coat and freshly polished painted finish under.
After your paint has been thoroughly cleaned and decontaminated of any grime from the road, polished or corrected, we apply two layers of ceramic coating to the fresh layer of clear coat. This allows for proper bonding and adhesion.
Once fully cured, bonded and hardened to the coated surfaces, you will have a hard but flexible sacrificial layer that mimics glass properties allowing bug guts, bird poop, dirt and water to easily slide off the surface and make washing extremely easy! Not to mention, you won't have to see a hideous stain after wiping off that bird poop from your car.
